FAQ

Taking Vita-C

  • Why is liposomal Vitamin C better than traditional pills and capsules?

When you take traditional Vitamin C supplements in the form of pills, tablets or capsules, you are only absorbing a fraction of the amount of Vitamin C stated on the bottle.

This is because much of the stated dose is eroded by the harsh, digestive process. That which does make it into your bloodstream only has a very short time period within which it can be absorbed. The result? More than 90% of the active Vitamin C content of pills, tablets and capsules is excreted from your body.

  • What is liposomal Vitamin C

Liposomal technology forms a protective “wrap” around delicate Vitamin C at a nano-level. Tiny bubbles – made from the same natural substance as your own cell membranes – ensure Vitamin C is protected from stomach acids and delivered directly to your cells.

The result is almost 100% availability for maximum absorption.

  • What makes Vita-C the best choice of liposomal Vitamin C?

Vita-C is made in the UK by liposomal experts. It’s our only product, meaning we are 100% committed in our goal of ensuring as many people as possible benefit from maximum Vitamin C absorption.

Vita-C is made in state-of-the-art facilities adhering to the strictest HACCP protocols, and we dispatch daily from our central UK warehouse.

  • How is Vita-C made

Vita-C’s Vitamin C is derived from sunflower lecithin. If you’re looking for natural ingredients, our sunflower lecithin is reassuringly non-GMO. Unlike other manufacturers, we choose not to use the cheaper form of ascorbic acid derived from soy lecithins.  We then add a drop of orange oil for our familiar great taste.

Just as important is what we leave out; Vita-C is made with no artificial preservatives or ethanol alcohol.

  • Is Vita-C safe?

You may have noticed stomach cramps or nausea when you have taken high-strength Vitamin C oral supplements. However, Vita-C’s liposomal delivery ensures that this is a problem of the past for many people.

Liposomal technology is not new. It was invented in the 1960s and has been thoroughly tested since. It is used across the medical sphere for decades, and its use is growing as more professionals understand its advantages.
